About (2).jpg

Glasgow five piece, theCore, are currently barrelling their way through the city's many venues, selling out shows at every turn and wowing audiences with their epic live sound and performances.

Having been one of the unsigned scene’s best kept secrets for a number of years, theCore exploded into the spotlight with a series of sell out gigs in 2011 and have proceeded to go from strength to strength since then with memorable performances at iconic venues across the city.

Following the 2011 release of debut EP, Prescriptioned MedicationtheCore have continued to produce new songs at a prolific pace which led to the release of Home, the band's second and very well received EP.

The mighty songwriting machine didn't stop after the Home EP and in amongst the live gigs and rehearsals theCore managed to hit the recording studio once more and produced their third and long awaited EP, Loaded Gun.

With a growing fanbase and catalogue of songs, theCore are showing no signs of slowing down as they continue to reinforce their position as one of Glasgow’s best live acts along their inevitable rise to fame.

Get involved and be a part of something special.

theCore never fail to deliver with their unique sound and epic live performance that have become their trademark. Foot-stomping songs, instant lyrical hooks and a fine line in haunting melodies, all delivered with cheeky banter and a pinch of Glasgow-swagger is par for the course with the five-man rock juggernaut in action.
